Quentin Tarantino’s new movie about World War II raids against Nazis isn’t due until August, but the first trailer is here. Typical Tarantino, the movie looks more concerned with hyper-violence than historical realism.

“In Bruges” Nominated for Best Screenplay?

with 3 comments

I just watched “In Bruges” ’cause it was nominated for original screenplay (!!!). And it was: stupid, maudlin, flat and incredibly off-key. I can’t believe yet another lame British Tarantino knockoff would even be considered, but then, “Wall-E” is up for the same Academy Award.
